The Darkness - Problem...

Playing this on PS3, but can't seem to find out how you save to quit. I played it for hours last night and got up to just after you set a load of money alight. Click continue game this morning and it's taken me right back to after the swat van reverses into butchers place FFS.

Am I being thick?

Its done on a checkpoint system as far as i can remember.

thats what I thought but it keeps conviniently forgettting all my checkpoints?

Are you sure it gives you a checkpoint after setting the money alight? You might have to leave the room or kill the baddies that come at you first.

Been a while since I played but don't you have to 'quit & save' for it to save your latest checkpoint; it doesn't just save them to disc.

The checkpoint isn't after setting the money alight, it's after killing everyone AFTER setting the money alight IIRC.
