The Darkness

tHave to admit my opinion on this game has changed somewhat:p...its not really that bad altho i still find the control system a bit clunky to say the least especially when your in darkness mode.

At the mo, im currently stuck in the trenches bit...having a bit of a tough time trying to get past it but im getting there slowly plus getting some easy points as well:p
 
Well I've played a bit more since my last post and I'd agree on how graphically amazing it looks it only really becomes apparent when you hit the subway.

Problem I have with these multiple choice type games is that I'm always wondering what might of happened (or what I might of got) if I'd chosen another route for example what happens when you ring Jenny from the pay phone? Because I got her address from some bloke instead :confused:

I guess it adds to the replay value though :)
 
Anyone played the never-ending world war I part? It actually feels really harrowing, what a well made game. Just got the darkness guns (which are cool :D ).
 
Hmmm im stuck, anyone got past the Hills part??. Im stuck at that tunnel where theres a bell blocking my way...used my creeping darkness to get past it and kill the few guys there but then it just stops and comes back to me....so currently stuck there and im getting more and mroe fustrated as i cant figure the freakin thing out...lol
 
Yeah i got stuck there too, the hills part though was actually quite tough with the foggyness and random lightning, easy to lose your sense of direction.

yup im a tad stuck there... keep losing my sense of direction and getting killed.

im not sure where the find the cross man or whatever it might be in the hills!
 
Follow the road til it ends and up the hill there somewhere should be a guy crucified upside down, speak to the guy and receive your darkness guns. Remeber to devour all of the german soldiers' hearts so that they dont revive.
 
Figured it out in the end, about 10 mins after i posted lol:p. Was a pretty hard level and pretty scary with the random guys turning up but not actually there ie ghosts.

Excellent game so far, really enjoying it now...but now cant figure out the Shrote level...i found him but he did a runner and disappeared...now im on top of the building and cant figure out which way to go...the journal thingy doesnt give u much help...been stuck there for past 10 mins...anyone figure out what to do??...cos im completely confused now...

Knowing my luck ill figure it out again after 10 mins:p

EDIT: LOL figured it out, gotta jump down to the next level then jump on the big pipe and follow it round...

Finished it now!

That was awesome! Think im going to do it on hard now!

Thats probably one of my favourite games ever.

I think the characters themselves are great which always makes for a good game in my opinion. I got really attached to Jenny, LOL :o
