The Darkness

Only thing I enjoyed about it was the torture scene, which was pretty sick!!! :p

Other than that, an average game.

It's a brilliant game irrespective of console. Yes, it's better on Xbox360, but if you don't have one, then play it on the PS3.
 
I remember voting Bioshock as GOTY - with hindsight The Darkness is most definitely my fave game of last year (with Bioshock a close 2nd).

Playing it through on hard just now and enjoying it just as much as the 1st time :)
 
It was a toss up for me too bigbilly50. The Darkness is the finest coming together of special powers and shooting but Bioshocks story was brought together in perfect cinematic fashion.

They're very similar in terms of overall quality. I've been waiting years to play a top class FPS game (since 2001 - Halo) and I got 2 last year.
 
I picked this up today along with Perfect Dark for 20 quid.

Hopefully I'll enjoy it as its not a game I would have got had it not being for this forum! (someone mentioned it was similar to Deus Ex in feel).
