Well, as some of you know, we got stopped by plod on Sunday in Wales and possibly been done with 6 points and a possible 28 day ban... here's how it happened... enjoy...

Didn't say it was exciting, just said here's how it happened lol. Personally I don't think it should've and I don't believe we'll get the points... but I'm not the law.

Anyhow picture qualities not bad off these things, got the RD32II on the LID, set to 720P/60fps... not bad although it suffers in low light unfortunately... and the sound function is a waste of time, even when stationary you can't here any voices clearly, not sure why it's even got a mic tbh.

Was that a year or 28 days? Think it could go to magistrates due to us being 30+mph over limit, was a 60 we got caught on?

I got told by a copper when i got pulled that +30mph is court... narrowly escaped it by being incredibly apologetic, addressing him as Sir, and being as polite as possible. Still got points as i was 30mph over the limit

28days and £250 fine i think,plus 6 points,its been about 5-6yrs ago

isnt it a point for every 5mph over the speed limit?

Not here, as i was 30mph over and got 3points. I got off very lightly as he did say he thought i was in triple figures!

Ultimate it's down to the discretion of the officer. Was the video taken in North wales? I believe they tend to be very harsh on bikers.

^^ North wales police have a long history of being unforgiving with drivers let alone bikers, they take a very dim view of speeding.

North Wales have police cars that can't pull you because they don't have flashy lights on the top, so you don't have to stop for them..

Unmarked police cars don't have flashing lights on the top, but you'd be in trouble if you didn't stop for one.

I managed to get busted doing 105 on a motorway about 12 years ago. When I got my first bike. 28 day ban. 6 points and £200 fine.

ive been followed down wales once by an unmarked copper on a fireblade and behind him another copper in an unmarked jag,hard to spot

and yeah its instant ban for anything over 100mph on motorway

they have flashing lights on the dashboard,behind radiator grill dont they? not on top (unmarked cars)

This is the problem though with bikes, it is all too easy just to hit a high speed in a few seconds and not realize it. I am sure we have all been there.
