The days just doesnt seem to be long enough!

During the week, I don't know if I don't get enough sleep or that I'm just not interested in work, but I couldn't tell you what happened yesterday / the day before etc. My weekdays go by in a blur, I don't think it's a good thing, I would like to remember what I've done : [. I get up about 8:30am and go to bed about 2 - 3am every night, I make up for it by sleeping about 13 hours a night at weekends, which wastes a considerable amount of my free time. Although I do get a lot done 5pm -> 2am after work, so I can't complain!

its a sad life.... working some 40 hours a week, learning to drive, learning to 3d model (which although fun is still work), going to the gym (damn getting fit)

This leaves me at best a couple of hours a day to actually relax

Meh... With a 3 year old at home and a pregnant partner who is shattered when I get in it's... Up at 7 look after toddler while ironing shirt showering leave for work at about 8.00. Work 8.30-6pm get in at 6.30 look after toddler cook tea etc till around 9pm then collapse on the sofa... normally in bed by 11.30. No lie in for me at the weekends either really... when a 3 y/o gets up... so do you! Have a dvd in our room now so can sit him in front of shrek/other animated film and chill for the first hour or so of a Saturday/Sunday morning before having to go and get him tired out doing something!

Yep I definitely find this. I'd love say a 27hr day, because this would allow me time to do things, get tired enough to drop off the sleep quickly (up for 18hrs), AND still get enough sleep (9hrs in bed).

I've recently bought a house, but I am yet to spend a full day in it, there's always something getting in the way like work, or visiting friends/family, or going shopping or whatever. There's 999999 things I'd like/need to do but I struggle to find the time. Moving has also meant I have to commute and involves around 1h25 travelling time each way door-to-door, or in other words an extra 7hrs on top of my weekly work.

Missing the maths there? You only work 3 days a week?

I travel about the same each way 1h15 and that adds over 11h to my working week sat in a car! Half a day........meh!

\shakes fist also

Why not accept a pay cut and do a shorter working week somewhere. A 4 day week, 3 day W.E. I think is a better balance. If this is not possible then try a 4 day 10-11hr week, gets you your 40-44 hours a week and leaves an extra day in the week.
try and swap saturday and sunday for tuesday-wednesday., Should save you plenty of time in traffic.

I have already cut it down from 7 days to 5 lol! + I work for my dad in a resteraunt as the bar man. Its a very very busy resteraunt and im the only one who can run it right so i have to go in at least 5 days! :p
