As title. What are the different turbos that will fit a t3/t4 flange?

I have done a little research, but im sure some people on here know the different ones from memory.

The one im looking at is a GT30. Good for 500hp ?

Yes a GT 30 can be good for 500 brake, but you have to have around 2 bar being shoved up it. Don't forget the GT series is not a bit fan of anti lag, if you are looking to run it.

Nowt really wrong with a good old T4 for 500 brake. With appropriate cams, headwork and mapping the lag can be surprisingly low. Think there was a roller bearing version being pimped aroundf recently as well.

What car is it for as aet turbos website is pretty comprehensive.

i can basically pick and choose what turbo i want as long as it fits the t3 flange, i dont really want to go BIG power because lag = gay :p

But as I said above, the GT series don't like anti lag as the shaft can't take the heat, as they are not made of 247 mar-m. Although the old school T4 isn't always mar-m shafted, they are pretty much bomb proof.

Have you considered say a T34 with a .63 housing? they are good for just over 400 horses with 2 bar boost, pretty much bombproof and happy to run anti slage.

Use nitrous to spool it then.

Throttle open > nitrous injected > nitrous results in more exhaust gas > turbo spools quicker > nitrous turned off by boost-sensitive switch.

haha, then ill give you a fiver to clean up the mess in my sump guard ;)

apparently the pistons and rods are good for 600bhp, not 500, and also the rod bearings are good for 900bhp

reading up, its the 4th gear in the 02M box thats the weak point.

I could just do a will and run it till it blows up, but im not earning as much as will :p
