The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

The police and the detective's on the case were right all along (if confirmed to be her), more so than random members of the public and an internet forum?
Colour me ******* shocked.

There's a reason half of us wont make it in the police force, let alone rise in to detective ranks.
It's obvious, but accepting it is obviously difficult especially for relatives.

Who found or spotted the body?

Randoms:

The man and woman who found the body in the River Wyre were later seen sat on the wall vaping, looking ashen-faced, as police frantically called for reinforcements.

The man told the first response officer: “It was a body. It is down there. It was a body of a woman. There is definitely a body down there.”

The body was only a mile away, they've had 3 weeks
If its the pic Ive seen it looks very overgrown with reeds etc. Probably got stuck in and these expert searchers seem to just rely on their equipment instead of getting stuck in.

Fine for bigger open parts of the river but the overgrown parts with reeds will gather loads of stuff and probably hampers the equipment maybe.

But maybe more by luck, it was a 50:50 shot at whether she had gone in the river. I don't recall any evidence to back up their claim that she had actually gone into the river, e.g. matching foot prints close to the edge.

I’m sure someone will be along shortly to say that either it’s a planted cadaver to prove the police right, or they found her body elsewhere and threw it in the river themselves to avoid criticism and scrutiny.

It wasn’t so much they had evidence she had, more that they had evidence she hadn’t left the area beside the river and it was looking more and more likely she ended up in the river and drowned.
