The disappearance of Nicola Bulley

Would be a literal non event if she was just another person falling into a river and getting out again. She had a bad roll of the dice and no one was there to help.

The ordinary is the most probable but that river didnt look fast flowing enough. People literally said she was a strong swimmer, I know clothes are like weights but to not make the shore or sand bank before sinking seems worse outcome then I'd guess for an adult
Cold water shock!

You can also drown in a couple of inches of water.

A friends dad drowned in Florida in less than 2 feet. 3 Marines couldn't pull him up after he got caught by an undercurrent.

If you are wearing heavy clothing, winter coat, footwear etc you'll struggle to float, even as a good swimmer.

I used to be a lifeguard but also passed the beach lifeguard qualification as well, and generally pretty good swimmer and I wouldn't fancy going into a cold river like that.

Middle of summer with light clothes, you've got a better chance.

I don't think it was an accident and the police obviously know more than we do. They were sure she was in the river at the beginning because they knew she had problems with alcohol, problems with menopause and had a welfare visit on the 10th of January. I am sure they know a lot more too. The fact she was on a call and just left her phone on the bench seems odd. Perhaps something in the transcript of that pushed her over the edge and she said forget it.

It's a conspiracy that they're not publishing everything for the plebeians to gossip over

I used to wear trainers when I worked on poolside, the first time I had to go in for someone I found out why that's a silly idea and switched to flip flops. Even in perfect conditions any clothing gets very cumbersome very quickly when full of water.

If she tripped over the dog (my view most likely) she either went in head first, or backwards and would likely have banged her head on the bank on the way in.
Neither will be ideal into very cold water, wearing heavy clothing.

I'd have thought that except for phone on bench.

Phone on bench is a weird one. Either she put it there in some weird suicide plan. Because you're unlikely to be in a rational mindset.
And we don't (and don't need to know) how bad her mental was at time.

If it wasn't suicide I'm trying to think why I'd put my phone on a bench rather than in my pocket for any reason. And only one I can think of is I did in a rush ie. dog looked like it was going to fall in, put it down, run over, slipped. Or thought it might get wet.. Leaning over the bank to reach for something where you thought phone might fall out.

If the phone wasn't on the bench I'd be way more into the pure accident mindset. Its just very strange it was there

Yeah I'd say she was sat on the bench, let the dog off of the lead for a run, it got stuck/did something silly and when she walked over to assist she slipped and fell in.

I can't see suicide being the conclusion, purely because there are much easier, faster and friendly ways to go.

Strong pool swimmer doesn’t equal being able to cope with cold shock and waterlogged clothing.

As I posted a while back in this thread, I almost lost my father to an undertow/riptide off a beach in Florida many years ago and he was a strong open water swimmer. Sea looked flat as a millpond on the surface at the time.

Have to agree. I know you can't apply rational thought to suicide. But I doubt you'd take the dog for a walk.

And if the dog was off the lead could have been causing all sorts of mischief. Especially spaniels. They are nuts.

She was on a conf call. Was probably on speaker placed on the bench, her just listening.
We do it all the time at work when away from desktops/laptops if its one of them just listen in type calls.

What do you think happened? Anything nefarious? I’m a woman and I think something shady is going on, illuminati ****, what’s your take?

Why the hell would the Illuminati (fictitious organisation) be involved in a normal womans death :)
If it was some high ranking official who knew too much then maybe there could be foul play.
Or perhaps we will find she was a spy and Putin had her killed.

The utter nonsense in this thread is worse than other social media.

June for the inquest..

The Post Mortem will/should already be done.
Our Post Mortems at the hospital are done very quickly and the Coroner gets their PM Report quite quickly.
The Coroner then puts in a request for Clinicians to send in Reports on questions the Coroner has asked and gives them a month to comply (or two weeks, the Inquest expert is out of the office).

Apparently she had to be id’d from dental records though probably for the best for the family.
