if you havent handed it in yet
there is a very quick and easy way of doing contents
In word
Code:
Insert->reference->index and tables->table of contents
Yes you want to see the outline toolbar
This will add a table to the page you selected, you should see
"Error! No table of contents entries found."
If you close the outline toolbar by accident you can turn it back on by going
To add things to the contents table,
select the text
And select "level 1" on the outlining toolbar
Code:
Now press "Update TOC" -> entire table
And see the contents appear
Saves you checking the pages and references
Repeat the aboce for figures and tables, but when it comes to adding instead of using the outlining toolbar you go
Code:
Insert->Reference->Caption
This will save you hours of work, in checking and cross checking
Best bit is that as you add new pages and contents the contents table will auto adjust itself,
remember to update the tables before you submit and check you selected the right text before you submit tho
