Armour is not everything, don't ignore other types of protection at the moment bleed, fire and exotic damage are the biggest pain for me.

That is why I was disputing the comment of firearms plus armour I best. If you can meet armour cap without mods you have a massive amount of flexibility over gear mods and might even find some performance mods to use :-o :P

Good point lads! Never thought of it until your posts. I'll have a look what the mitigation looks like without mods.
 
Here's my current setup, finally hit the 75% armor cap after many many respecs :mad:

How the F are you guys getting up to near 500 toughness and still above 220 DPS! I know I'm rocking all crit hit chance attachments on my SMG which could be swapped out to raise that base DPS figure but the actual damage i do would be lower if i'm not critting as much it would also make the crit damage pointless if i can't crit too.

I can post a breakdown if needs be? Its mainly the sentrys 2 piece for me that buffs up DPS in terms of dmg, and then I can focus on stamina more

Guy somehow got under the stairs on CM FL, restart/dying did'nt help. So he became our suprise got your ankles defence.

In reality we wiped on W14 as people still pulse at the end of a wave :D
I just love playing CM FL, don't mind the fails at all, and meet some nice random people. It has a pretty high success rate with randoms now, exept the one guy who got the bomb on W15 and refused to plant, on purpose, proper trolled us, I can even laugh at that :)

Shame you get no credits for repeating the mission.
 
Either they have "tweaked" the supposedly random drop rates, or I am the unluckiest person in the Dark Zone. Two hours killing bosses in DZ 5 and 6, resulted in five identical pistols with identical talents and two identical HE back packs. Earlier this week I was obtaining a far more diverse collection of loot. The more that things like this happen, the more I start to think Ubisoft are using this game as some kind of pseudo-psychological testing ground to see how much they can annoy gamers.:p
 
On the flip side I had a striker holster and 204 vest and mr from sealed caches and air drops earlier :D

And that was all 201+ dz0

If you're feeling squishy get your armour up near the 75% cap. I'm at 72 at the moment and it really helps.

More and more people saying that drops in Div are not so random..new video on Ubi forum showing 3 players opening caches at same time and getting completely same stuffl with same stats/talents (not that there are many,but still),another video was yesterday and both players got exactly same thing with exactly same stats (mask that was i think).
Now i would like to know how this fckn random really works in Div.

Wonder if that's a group thing?

Seeing a good spread of types of drops while solo. Had several set drops, HE. I think they may have weighted lmg as they're getting common.
 
More and more people saying that drops in Div are not so random..new video on Ubi forum showing 3 players opening caches at same time and getting completely same stuffl with same stats/talents (not that there are many,but still),another video was yesterday and both players got exactly same thing with exactly same stats (mask that was i think).
Now i would like to know how this fckn random really works in Div.

Well, just ran cm fl 2x fast and got the same ak47 with the same talents. The odds of random rolling that twice are next to zero.
Who knows how the hamsters decide what to give you, there not giving me any 240 holsters though.
 
I think missions are weighted toward certain items?

They were saying since 1.2, there is a chance to get X items in certain areas but there will also be a smaller chance to get every type.

If believe those theories,its not that random,so you more than likely will get same or similar.Like crafting - keep crafting non stop and you get chit,make a break,return and voila - first try and you have good roll.
Happened with me a lot,especially with crafting.
Now i would like to try open cache at same time with 1-2 players in a group.
If its time based somebody at some point will make a table when good drops happening :D

They dialed back the green drops the day after 1.2 landed. In the latest state of the game they say they haven't but I call it and say they are flat-out lying. I have been saying this ever since that day after whilst playing, in amazement, and it's not just me; it's everybody else I've played with, seen on the forums, on YouTube etc. Bait and switch ftw eh?

As for the random not so random drops; how many more pistols and LMGs can I take? Goes for both the drops and the vendors; they're being rammed down our throats everywhere. Incentive to play = on Mars somewhere, being blown around in a storm.
