The Division. Are we interested?

Is this using the same engine as Watchdogs per chance?

No this engine is custom made for the game and is called snowdrop. Looks ace

The real question is, will we still be able to shut the car doors?

I find it quite interesting that games these days seem to have an aversion to functional doors given that they were implemented fairly well in games 10 years ago. There are not very many modern multiplayer shooter based games with actual working doors in buildings these days, maybe The Division will change that!

Inteligence Annex #6 Was just released

Link to full article

When you start to see signs of the virus it’s likely the Cleaners won’t be too far away. As they get closer you’ll hear the rumble of their flame throwers and see the glow in the distance, especially at night. They leave a trail of fiery destruction everywhere they go so if you start seeing burnt out cars, charred bodies and cracked black tarmac you might want to change course.”

The Cleaners, while very organized and in control of certain areas will also roam the map in an effort to control and eliminate the virus. Because of this, engagements with them will vary wildly depending on how you encounter them.

EDIT :

Have edited OP ( refer to EDIT #4 ) to contain all of the Annex's

I am excited for what this game could and should be.

But, well, Ubisoft.

So for now it is just meh.

I will wait and see and if it is any good, then that will be a happy surprise :)

Downgrade was obvious :(

:)

I have literally just updated this on the OP. Hmm i can't personally say i noticed a graphical downgrade, but my eyes are on fire after work and im on a phone atm!

To me the gameplay still looks stunning :)

EDIT : Not to mention that the gameplay video is from a xbone so i reserve judgement and hope for now :D though i really was hoping ubisoft would have learnt from watchdogs???

Actually, I agree here, there's doesn't seem to have been a noticeable downgrade.

However that doesn't mean it's not going to be another UbiGame (tm).

I reckon:

Police Stations as the "outposts",

You have to climb mobile phone towers to reveal the map, and then rappel down into dumpsters.

For 100% completion, you'll have to find 100 mobile phones scattered around the city to listen to voicemails left on them.

You'll be able to craft new holsters and armour by finding backpack "stashes" lying around, and by salvaging from shops.

YES!

Was joking about this the other day with friends. Though let's at least make it realistic and find the hidden NSA phone tapping boxes.

EDIT : Also another thing that i did notice is the clear advertisement of light machine guns :) New weapon class it seems :D

I was interested in this when the first trailers / previews started coming out however many moons ago that was, couldn't care anymore
