And Level 8's fine for Redcliff. I did it on around 7 I think.
I must be rubbish then. Having real trouble with my main (Rogue), Alistair, Morrigan and Snoop (My Dogg).

Got past a few of those bloody dogs (who kept knocking Alistair over and killing him) and am now in the courtyard, unable to kill the Revenant. He seems capable of killing each one of my party members in 2 hits.

Actually, good point. The room of dogs was the only bit I skipped - they were hard! But you can walk past them.
As for the courtyard... Perhaps you should take a look at the gate.
Playing a rogue myself, party also similar to yours (although have Sten, not the dog). Normal difficulty... Lots of pauses though, a few reloads..

I am finding normal difficulty getting increasingly harder, I just finished redcliffe, and have now got the Elf Rogue assassin guy on my side, but everything now seems practically impossible without multiple reloads.

.Considering trying a combo of Warrior, 2 Rogues and a Support Mage. Not so sure how well it'll work though. Unsure of Mage abilities in this game due to friendly fire (though I appreciate its implementation). The only time enemies really group for me is when they're surrounding my tank. Use my Warrior as a tank, Rogues as dps (one of whom is a bard for support) and my mage to heal and buff. Can't be any worse than what i've got at the minute
.I know exactly what you mean. Its very frustrating. I'm plugging away just for the feeling of power when I can go back at a higher level and 1 hit all the enemies

Claudia Black is a really bad voice actor
Thought it was her.
I agree she's a bit rubbish in this, but she shines in Uncharted 2.

You can change difficulty anytime you want. I try stuff on normal then when I've died several times I switch to easy

Nightmare isn't actually so bad.
I nearly finished the entire Dalish elf line as a Human trying to gain their side. Just had to drop to hard for the bosses.
