Just some thoughts etc..
Most important: My dog is called Fred, maybe it's down to something he ate
Only one character made so far, an elf mage, and far from perfect - still that's part of what rpg's are all about.
60+ hours so far and now at level 12, or is it 11.
One or two minor glitches, nothing game breaking. Not a single crash, not once including some 12h+ sessions.
Slow load times, occasional pauses loading inventory etc: For me this only happens after spending a while in Denerim. Memory leak? I can't say but the slow down is typical of when the system is making frequent use of the swap file. Restart the game and all is well.
I must admit I was unsure about the game, unsure for the first 10 hours or so, mostly a matter of me getting used to the graphics, controls and play style. Things gradually started to fall into place and after 30 or 40 hours I started to consider the game a masterpiece, the Fade oh my.
DLC. I guess the DLC included for download is an anti piracy/ anti re-sale measure, I can live with this though I'm sure opinions vary. Is the other DLC worth £4.76 ? In all honesty at this point I don't care, the shear amount of content, overall quality and attention to detail - silly detail(1) - makes the game well worth the full Steam price imo, if you paid less I'd say you got a bargain.
(1) Anyone noticed in Soldier’s Peak that Shale has a permanent following of crows -
The game is not perfect but I find myself overlooking all of the, minor flaws. While I love the characterisations if I had to single out the one thing that impresses me most about the game it has to be the variation. Not room to room, door to door variation - though you are never quite sure what you'll find - I mean the occasional door or conversation and blam, never in a million years would I have expected
that.

Thinking about getting rid of him and having two mages, one heal and one attack
Best thing I've done so far is team up with Morrigan. A mage tag team with Leliana for support and some random muscle is proving very effective. No specialist healer required.
