I saw her in concert in 1978 at Blackbushe aerodrome with Dylan and Clapton et al, with a crowd of 200,000.

Still one of the most memorable days of my life.

True story.
Back in the mid 90s I was on some Steve Miller site in their forums discussing an artist called Sy Klopps and at that time Sy Klopps was a secret but his first album pointed at it being Steve Miller because Steve Millers first albums were very bluesy. What made it interesting was that Steve Miller came on giving some obtuse replies to my questions making me believe it was him. A few years later it was proved to be a very close friend of his called Herbie Herbert.

I dont know if its going to be aired on tv here, but have a look (in the usual places) for History of the Eagles. Its a 3 hour documentary on them. From the formation of the band, to the arguments, the break up etc etc.

It came out on dvd/blu-ray on 29th April. I have a copy coming tomorrow.

So do I. Got the feeling they won't tour again or I won't be able to afford it. Likelihood is that if they do tour Europe, they'd probably just do a date or two at Wembley. I'm fairly close.

History Of The Eagles is on tv tonight at 10pm, on BBC2 (so no ad breaks) if anyone is interested. Part 2 tomorrow night.
