There are about 5 years between each Elder Scrolls game and we all know Skyrim will most definitely have many more expansions/DLC to come, but this thread however, is about speculating the next big TES game! With all the next gen consoles coming out, Bethesda will most defiantly start working on a 6th title soon and I'm guessing we're probably looking at 2015/16.

My question is... Where would you like The Elder Scrolls 6 to be set?

Personally I'd love to see either an Elsweyr/Valenwood combo or perhaps even revisit Cyrodiil!

The other options would be to visit another continent altogether!!! Then perhaps they could introduce more races or revive races believed to be long dead!

Yokuda
Not much is known about Yokuda since it was nearly obliterated in a cataclysmic event, but it seems to have a dull, rocky, hilly, desert landscape. It is known to be the original home to the Redguards before they rendered it uninhabitable.

Atmora
Atmora is a barren and freezing wasteland. It is this extreme cold that caused the water of the Sea of Ghosts that borders Tamriel and Atmora to become icy. This frozen land is also where the Nords of Skyrim are originally from, although not many trips back are made.

Akavir
Next to nothing is known about the geography of Akavir. We are aware that the continent is split into four warring kingdoms, each boasting its own race: Tang Mo, Kamal, Ka Po'Tun, and Tsaesci. Akavir is known to have been a home to dragons. The Blades, originally from Akavir where they were known as the Dragonguard, but turned to serve Reman Cyrodiil in their search for a Dragonborn.

Pyandonea
Pyandonea is the island-continent located to the far south-west of Tamriel and home to the elusive Maormer. The island consists of dense rain forests which provide shelter for the southern water spirits. Due to it's populace being Merrish, there is speculation that Pyandonea may infact be part of Tamriel.

I think if they are keeping the current storyline then Summerset Isle (and maybe Valenwood as well?) would be interesting to go to and to finish the line of the Thalmor. If not then a new continent would be great too - Akavir is very interesting.

I'd be happy with that aswell :D

The dream would have been a Skyrim expansion set in each region! ...I really wanted to see Elsweyr, but I don't think it could carry a whole game tbh. High-Rock could be good, with some different gameplay to reflect the political dealings, more intricate quests Fallout: New Vegas style.

Personally, I would really like the main game set in Hammerfell, with an Elsweyr expansion.

i just want a DLC that allows me to smash the thalmors face in tbh.

why hasnt any sort of resistance been set to against them? the stormcloaks are only interested in skyrim, but i want to help fight them back in huge battles.

hopefully the new gen consoles will allow for epic open battles to be done so i can enjoy them on the pc

Will sort the poll :)

I am certainly interested where the story goes next, politically the whole world is sounding very messed up and on the verge of collapse. Not sure which region would beat suit the next story though.

Okayyyyy, so, I got the leather armor and just killed the black knight (think thats what he is) covering the stam regen shield. My dexterity is 16 and my strength is 22. Should do for now. Need to get my vit and endurance up. Any idea on how high I should go before worrying about weapon damage? I have the drake sword.

Level 20 I think...

Elsweyr for me, I don't think i would really enjoy a swamp or rainforest, I also don't think i can bear another Human nation.

Summerset isles are a close second.

I don't believe for a second that they'll develop both a MMO and a separate stand alone single player game.

Well the Elder Scrolls Online has been in development for years now and has even entered the closed beta stage now! :o

It's being made by Zenimax, the sister company to Bethesda Softworks. (Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Media all work in the same building.) Todd Howard has said they have the sister company so they can work on the Elder Scrolls single player games and the MMO at the same time.

MMO's are a cash cow for developers - they won't just release it and forget about it - they'll follow it up with expansions to keep people playing. Look at WoW, it's been going for over 8 years now. Releasing single player games set in the same world is counterproductive.
