This game has really just underscored where United are. An early work in progress. Still no discernible patterns of play, little real threat in the last third and too many players who haven't got the mentality to really play top level. Add to that a bench that hasn't got many game changing options. We are still pretty turgid to watch at times.

Our squad depth is pretty poor too. Garnacho is really the only player we can bring on, and he’s replacing Sancho, who isn’t that great.

We’ve had a few good spells but there’s no real plan, or consistent quality.
