That was probably the only bright thing for Pakistan in that series, apart from the performance by Abbas.

Mark Wood has just announced his retirement. It's a shame that injuries really impacted the number of appearances he made at international level in his career but what an exciting player to watch when he was in full flow.

This was Mark at his peak putting the fear of God into the Aussies at Headinley in 2023 (I think Khwaja needed new underwear by the time Woody was done with him)

I do find it odd that Henry Crocombe has got a 2 year central contract, despite not playing an international game. Hopefully England treat him a bit better than they usually treat youngsters.
