The EU Referendum: Polling Day

Traders will do whatever makes them the best buck, unless the EU enforce some sort of trade embargo on us after leaving, I don't think there will be a problem.

This comment shows a compete look of understanding in the situation and I think that's the issue with most of the leave supporters.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing has never rung more true than during this referendum imo.

That's just like children saying your not in our club you can't play with us, it's pathetic, the one thing this country has done throughout history is stand up to bullies. Stick two fingers up to the EU power hungry beurocrats and stand on our own two feet. 99% of the remain argument has been to do with the economy, except it is no longer just a "free trade zone" it has grown into a undemocratic political entity, if we were just voting on trade and economic reasons then it would be a totally different story. If people have such a hard on for Europe then go and move there

99% of the arguments are about the economy, because if we haven't got one, then the REAL suffering is going to begin. Global economics isn't some kind of game that you can change the rules of when you aren't winning, well unless you like going to war...

We are a little island which actually produces very little that anyone else wants. Through a quirk of fate and a huge amount of suffering we have acquired a lot of good will from our neighbors. We are proposing throwing that back in their faces in some kind of misguided delusion that it is them holding us back.

Tbf, anyone who thinks that the founder of the Tax Payers Alliance and other ideologically aligned Tories are crypto-communists, champing at the bit to unleash their horn of plenty on the NHS, is somewhat politically naive. Damascene conversions are rarely genuine!

Oh god absolutely, saving the NHS is looking like a longshot either way at the mo, but flogging the NHS on the scale of TTIP will be much more difficult for a party wanting re-election than being signed, sealed & sold off through TTIP which will be legally binding & we will have no say over once implemented.

We're risking the tories doing the right thing, which they won't as they want is sold off sharpish & once TTIP is signed then off the NHS goes.

That made me laugh out loud.

Whichever way it goes there are going to be over 20 million unhappy people. To have a nation divided as much as this shows that there is something terribly wrong.
