America already has its CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) requirements. Gas guzzlers or offset by more economic vehicles. Its those that don't do high economy vehicles that suffer.

To be honest if you can afford a Porsche/Ferrari or any high-performance car then you can afford to pay extra fuel consumption taxes. Abolishing high-performance cars altogether is ridiculous!

Thats true but more poor Focus 1.6 is classed as a performance car under this!!!
