The 'Exam - Good luck' thread

did my AS maths today, damn core 2 was hard, i can see me resitting AS and doing A2 at the same time :(


oh well, there all easy from here, only electronics tomorrow then a nice big break, then physics

well if your doing maths next year mate then your in for a hard slog if you thought C2 was hard!!! just thought i would make you feel better :p i had to keep resitting C1 the easiest of the all! and i still cant get a good mark
 
Good luck to everyone doing exams. Stick at it, work hard, and reap the rewards later!

I've got AS German Module 1&2 tomorrow. Still to come is Maths C2, Maths S1, Physics and Chemistry. :)

lol - it wasnt THAT hard, just i hate the way the paper is set out, ie, they use 2 or 3 different topics per question, like, today there was a trig question, followed by a log question, the back to trig, just throws you off

im ok next year hopefully. apparently we do mechanics core and its like the physics students (which i am) are better then the teacher then

And no, i've got it on Tue 6th June - I'm doing OCR, you must be with a different board. I got an A in C1 so I'm hopeful:).
 
The C3 exam this year was VERY hard. Anyone who sat this in January will know what im talking about.

Mechanics today wasnt too bad though, could have been a lot worse, having said that though we were all fairly confident before we even entered the exam hall.

well mechanics is quite easy if you do physics, tbh a lot of it boils down to common sense, although there is usually a specific way to write your working in mechanics, just make sure you get as many marks in that as possible it will help make life less stressful for C3 and C4.
everyone does exams at different times depending on your centre number

yeah, do aswell as i can on the other 2 and just hopefully scrounge a low grade on the hard

maths is hard cause it separates the men from the boys, and basically it would be nearly impossible to make the stuff you do in math easy!
 
Got English Lit and ICT tomos

English Lit im a bit worried abou, ICt not too much as I only need 40% to get an A*

Same here, I'm going to be pulling an all-nighter going over my English work. :/

how'd they go?

ps u can get a little wrong in M1 and still get 100 (i forgot a minus (stupid dirns) and got a 100) in m2 u can get loads wrong and get 100
c1/p1 is lame cause everyone can do it so if u make stupid mistakes you get nailed (my lowest alevel mark was in that paper :( )
