The Expendables

my mate went and saw this also! said its one of the best action films hes ever seen with a very clever twist!

im going next weekend!

just saw this

Van Damme, it turns out, did get a call from Stallone to join his team of Expendables, but he wasn't thrilled with the pitch. He told TotalFilm, "Stallone gave me a part in his next movie. [He] said, 'You're gonna make lots of money.' I don't want to hear that, I want to hear what was my character. He was unable to tell what it's going to be." So Van Damme, showing admirable dedication to the purity of his craft, passed.

bit silly.

Saw this on Friday. Was a bit disappointed tbh.

I love cheesy 80s action movies but there was just no plot at all. Good action but was expecting better.

Not bad, but not amazing.

Expendables 2 is already in the works apparently and Stallone has idea's for some other action heroes he is gonna try for.

Have to admit, hope he does manage to get Van Damme on board as I was a big fan of his movies growing up :D plus he isn't a bad actor at all if you watch the right films.

it was just so friggin amazing!

everything impressed me- the stunts were HUGE, the one0liners superb and the hand to hand was amazing.

love it; so good even my girlfriend liked it!

Recently saw this and thought it was great, over the top action, great fight scenes, only thing that got to me was some of the dialogue was painful to listen to and the big cameo with Arnie and Bruce seemed totally wasted, was expecting some great lines from them and it just fell flat tbh. Other than that, fantastic action film:D

Wasn't as good as I hoped it would be (High expectations, meh!!), but it was an enjoyable film.

Some of the one-liners and timing was really cheesy (Whole of it point really!), and the plot, well it is very cliche not exactly well written, but the action scenes were quite good.

One awesomely brutal scene I liked was Jet Li killing this British accent henchman dude with a little help from Statham's character, who by the ways was also insane with the knives.

Sly getting arse whipped by Stone Cold was fun to watch. Shame there was no Stunner!

And it's nice to see some more Dolph Lundgren because he just has such an evil look and presence, and yet he is a very nice guy in real life. Dude is a decent martial artist too.

Just a few words from me....

Terry Crews....That Shotgun

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Indeed!

Holy **** was it over-the-top scary in a good way!

Saw this last night and was thoroughly impressed! On a scale of 1 to 10 the film hit a healthy 9 in my books! Not quite up to the hype but very close! Made me chuckle when I found out the average age of the cast was over 50 but Stallone, rouke and swartzeneger soon drag that field up...

Definately worth a watch :)

Watched it last night

Simply amazing

10/10 for me just for seeing the legends on one screen. The action in it was immense, the one liners were great and it was just a great mindless action film. Has to be said the story was shocking but who the hell cares about the story with a film like this?

Just got back from seeing this. It was one big pile of awesomeness lol there was barely a plot but good god I enjoyed it lol

I like the fact that a lot of the jokes were more **** take than anything, Jet Li's reason for wanting more money had me laughing.
