Between now and the return game with Madrid I hope the majority of the more important players only feature against QPR away the weekend after this so with that in mind I hope to see something like the below against Reading on Monday night...

--------------Lindegaard--------------
Rafael---Smalling---Vidic---Buttner
Nani---Cleverley---Anderson---Young
--------------Rooney
----------------Hernandez

Subs: Amos, Evans, Scholes, Giggs, Valencia, Kagawa, RVP

Personally I would rest Vidic thoroughly before the Madrid game just because of the OT pitch. Maybe give him a few minutes at QPR as a sub if necessary but otherwise why risk him.

I doubt it would happen, but I would love to see Chicharito start vs Madrid (along with RvP and Rooney) but with the games quite wide spread I dont see why he cant play either vs Reading or QPR as well as Madrid (probably Reading would be best) - edit sorry of course there is the Norwich game as well b4 Madrid, so two out of those three for Chicharito would be good if he is to have a decent part vs RM)

The only change from the first leg I would make v Madrid would be Valencia or Cleverley in for Kagawa. The defence especially did a good enough job to warrant starting again.

Should be an easy win for us against Blackburn, i say should but who knows...either we will struggle and score a goal or we will dominate their little cotton socks off and smash 4-5 goals in.

Hopefully we put in a good performance this weekend and smash Blackburn into oblivion.

Got my tickets for the Shed End. Can't wait to see us turn over the blues :)

It's sold out now & from what I can make out from the GPG there'll be plenty of Bees in the other stands too.
If you're seated anywhere near the 'In Rafa We Trust' banner (if they get hold of it) please set fire to it for me ;)
Enjoy it, it's going to be a great day all round :)

I'm in the upper tier and apparently quite close to the front. Trying to find somewhere to have a drink before the game is proving to be a bit difficult.

I'm sure there will be a few bees dotted around. Was in Kingston this morning and you could easily pick up tickets in the Chelsea shop - good to hear it's sold out. I think it's only the second time in 20 years that we've been on terrestrial TV!

The GPG is already up in arms about who's going to stand and who's going to stop them from standing

Good luck :)

I see Bentley may end up playing against Arsenal on sat, i thought he wasnt a bad player when he was at Rovers the first time round.

Please use this moment to enjoy the most appropriate time to sing iv got a shed bigger than this!

Haha - "My Garden Shed...". I just want to see us score and I'll be happy. This cup run has really screwed up our league form. Big day out and then concentrate on the league.

I was trying to be a smart git and buy cheap train tickets early... Seeing as this cup run has taken precedence over the league campaign, does anyone want a cheap non-refundable return ticket to Crewe for tomorrow...? :p

Enjoy the big day, I know that it's going to be a good one and don't forget to wave. :)

Rubbish half of football, I wouldn't bother watching if you missed the first half.

We've had a few chances to score but their keeper has made some good saves and one of them fell to Gervinho so they got a goal kick :o. Blackburn are more than content to sit back and play on the break.

Yup. The Gerv chance was so typical of him, absolute sitter.
