with the build up of games I think 2nd might be difficult unless Spurs / Liverpool drop a few more surprise games (City and Arsenal , esp the latter, look as though this could happen).
One way or another we need to get CL to attract the quality of player required to sustain a good title run. Still weak in a few crucial places.
Performance today should be filed under "lucky" - Rovers had a few better chances and it was just their decision making that let us off (and dodgy defending). Cant see Utd even getting a draw at SB which is fine with me, pity we cant really defend it - but have bigger fish to fry. Two Cup games this week, two premiership games before the Int break (Mou will probably put out a1 team vs Chelsea in the next round, but I really hope he doesnt) - and then Utd can just concerntrate on Europa and EPL - hopefully with a reasonable draw in the Europa .......cant see us losing 4-0 away on Wednesday
