Great ball, great finish but god awful defending. Its basically like watching a really really **** version of ourselves. OK when they defend in numbers and crowd the penalty area but as soon as they get any ideas about attacking their defence goes to pot.
 
Both Schneiderlin and Herrera were quite wasteful but they were playing against 11 men behind the ball until the first goal. Neither of them is ever given a run of games either. You can't expect players to jump in and out of a crap team with no style and instantly perform. Especially against a team defending so much.

When a new manager comes in (please please please not Giggs) and we actually have some sort of order to our attacking and defending then we will see if they are good enough or now.

seemed to be more visible than mata for the majority of the time they were on the pitch together for

I like the idea of the free-kick - ie Utd actually thinking about something different in such a dismal season - but maybe not the spirit of it (and to be honest Im not keen on either factors of "that" penalty of Barca's from last week)
