The FA CUP Fourth Round - 25/26/27 January *** Spoilers ***

Usually when teams are doing badly and a new manager gets sacked a lot of reactions are of "give him more time", "till the end of the season" etc etc but with Lambert and Villa he just can't seem to be able to get anything tactically right from the 3 at the back to changing it now, and getting the players motivated to win games and score goals. I don't think many people would be saying those things if he's sacked after tonights game.
 
I cant pinpoint villas main problem, or if its just a multiple of issues.

Mate at work blames chairman for lack of funds to improve the squad, i blame the manager and others blame both or the players lack of commitment to a game.

seriously. some results could be put down to better opposition but they are horrificly bad and things are only going to get worse as their mentality and confidence is obviously in tatters.

villa fans should be worried.
 
Just on the way back from the match and goodness Villa were poor.

They can string a few nice passes together but seemed to carry no attacking threat, plus they were getting levered off the ball far too easily.
 
I know it's not related to the FA cup but can I just say – if Newcastle don't get three points at Villa Park on Tuesday I think I'm going to top myself.

Good shout on Lopez especially if we get a penalty!

If we turn up then we will have a chance of nicking a win or taking them back to their place! If we don't turn up then it could be a massacre!
