The FA CUP Fourth Round - 25/26/27 January *** Spoilers ***

To reiterate, I ment Liverpool fans will try to avoid any confrontation regarding about today's game around my ends. Meaning friends and families.

As for the good old rolly eyes, it's one of those things eh?

Get yourself in here more often, we need more none Prem supporters :p

Boro V Chelsea/Brentford at home :)

I seem to be the only one wanting Brentford, I'd rather have a nice cup run than a pasting by Chelsea. But then given the giant killing recently and out poor form, beating Brentford isn't exactly a forgone conclusion.

Seriously though, a few more lower league supporters would be nice...and maybe a non premiership thread to get away from the big 4 ****fest we usually get.;)

PS. I don't even want to get promoted...I love the championship!

Promoted? I just don't want to get relegated :(.

Good result against Charlton this weekend, nice to see a new signing make an instant impact, I just really hope he and Wednesday can kick on a bit and drag ourselves up and away from the relegation zone.

Wednesday have improved a lot recently though, I think they will be fine tbh...though I have to say they were awful when I saw them earlier in the season. Probably our most comfortable victory of the season before Bristol City came here. Bristol city and Barnsley are gone imo...2 bad teams this year.

Not sure what to expect next week. Wednesday have imoroved, but we are in form too, and new guy Ulloa looks like the player we have been looking for for ages.

I have no real faith in Wednesdays and I try and not get excited, it's just even more crushing when I do and we have a bad patch, I expect the worst now :(.

I hope we can basically maintain this form, we are playing well and picking up points, I really hope it's enough to finish bottom of the mid table or mid table. I really hope Dave Jones gets a bit of money to spend in the summer if we stay up too.

I should be at the game next weekend I'm not really looking forward to it.

I dont need to try the facts speak for themselves

Yeah, that's why I was surprised that a manyoo fan would ignore the facts ;)

There's very few competitions they've not had run of the green. They usually get the easy group in the CL and the domestic cups they generally avoid the danger teams early on.

Chelsea might have had some 'easier' ties very recently but manyoos has gone on for ages.

Who's talking about Europe? I'm talking about the FA Cup and only the FA Cup (it's not like Chelsea have had mountains of tough games in Europe anyway)

Please dont make me quote the Chelsea fixtures again but as for us last season we were draw away to City in the 3rd Round and then away to Liverpool in the 4th, dont tell me that we generally avoid the danger teams

Crappy result, outfought by a physically stronger team again. Has happened time and time again this season, a team gets in our faces and we will crumble like little girls. Jones, Skrtel, Coates, Robinson and Allen all absymal (Robinson and Coates just don't get game time so can't be blmaed to much, if that makes sense). Can't see how Allen is anything but average at the moment.

Lastly, formation. wtf?!.

Let's look at the facts rather than making something up...

I don't think that's an easy set of draws over the last 10 years at all.

Chelsea v Brentford replay is on the Sunday 17th of February which is during the weekend of the next (5th) round games.

Ticket news to be released shortly.

In all honesty I'm almost glad we didn't hang on for the win. Obviously it would have been fantastic to have beaten Chelsea, one for the history books and for a bit of bragging, but in terms of overall benefits for the club the draw works in our favour.

A trip to Stamford Bridge would be exciting - we'd almost certainly get comfortably beaten - and I've never been there before. It's much more preferable than going up to M'boro and getting beat. Plus, we're likely to make a killing in ticket sales and TV money... up to about a third of our annual playing budget!

Stevenage had an awesome run in last year, mainly based on their loan acquisitions financed by their cup run. So this reply could hopefully finance our promotion push. :)
