The FA CUP Semi-Finals 14/15 April *** Spoilers ***

He scores goals, he creates goals and he puts 100% in every game.

Given the way he's been treated I'm surprised he hasn't kicked off.

Must be soul destroying to see so many poor players ahead of him and know his goals and assist don't matter to the management.

I'd happily give him a new contract in the summer.

Edit: And yes, I am bitter :p

I can agree with all of that. ;) He's proved to be a good professional.

I hope and expect that Agger and Skrtel will be at the back on Saturday. Carra not playing yesterday could simply be down to him not being able to start another game a few days after playing on Saturday rather than with this weekend in mind. As for Downing, I wouldn't be too concerned if he started. His personal form hasn't been too bad recently and as we saw in the CC Final, on a big pitch like Wembley's, his pace and width could be useful. He also tore Hibbert apart in the league game last month.

I'm not sure if Kenny will risk both Agger and Johnson on Saturday. I expect Johnson to start and Agger to be on the bench.

I'm not sure why Agger would be a risk. He suffered a broken rib, not a muscle injury so providing it's fully healed (which I'm sure it has) then you don't have to worry about any recurrences of the injury. He's been back in training for a while now and played the best part of 40 minutes yesterday too.

Johnson's being a muscle injury and one that he's picked up a couple of times over the last 18 months too, would be a risk if he's not 100% fit though. He has to play though; Flanagan is an accident waiting to happen and him up against a character like Drenthe is only going to end with Flanagan getting sent off.

I was thinking in terms of match fitness rather than a reoccurrence of injury. Considering we tend to things the hard way it wouldn't surprise me if the match went to extra-time.

Yeah, but he was first choice until then and really wasn't much cop. Leaving him out after he recovered was a no-brainer.

Bit of an odd question - I need to use the A406 on Sat/Sun, will it be closed/diverted because of the games at Wembley?

Anywhere that I can find out this travel information as my googling skills seem to be failing me...

Are the circle lines going to be closed?

I swear every time I've been to the NFL they are. (I think it is the yellow one on the map :p)

It's a main London route and will be open.

Excellent thanks, I had hoped it was open but wasn't sure.

He's better than every single British player we've signed. He scores goals, he creates goals and he puts 100% in every game. Given the way he's been treated I'm surprised he hasn't kicked off. Funny, when I watc him I think, awful. 1 goal, and 3 assists, and he hasn't had an assist in the league in the past 2 seasons. He managed to get 10 goals last season, 6 of which were in 2 games, a truly awful Brum and Fulham who contrived to gift you a win. Most of his goals are tap ins, very few are scored as a midfielder generally does, most in games against inept opposition and in terms of creating, his assist rate has been terrible.

The only troubling thing about him for liverpool is, someone who was so awful for the best part of two years and got 60% of his league goals in two lucky games, is actually genuinely one of your better players now and should infact be played.

Realistically, he'd probably make a good tap in artist played ahead of Suarez, but played on the wing he's consistently useless.
