Don't think Suarez even thought it would be given. Ah well the papers should be a riot tomorrow

Speaking as a Liverpool supporter it looks like both arms are outstretched as he's trying to balance himself, it hits his hand which he then tries to pull away as quick as possible and finally kicks the ball in the back of the net expecting the whistle to go.

Don't think he should be vilified for this, he's done far worse, but the accumulation of incidents won't do him any favours so you can understand the hate. If I was a supporter of any other club my reaction would no doubt be completely different though.

Anyone notice spaccer champion toned down the hate with about 10 minutes to go? Wonder if he got a word in the ear for being a bias ****.

Robbie Savage of all people even defending him

I suppose the only defence is it happened very quickly and arguably it may have not been deliberate, but 99/100 referees would give that as handball.

That was pretty deliberate. However the way he kicked the ball into the net after you would have to assume he thought it was not going to be given.

Handball = yes

Ref missing a decision = yes

Not the end of the world, hope the rag's don't go to town on him tbh.

It should have been a free-kick, that's clear but it's just as clear that his reaction could only have been instinctive. It's happened so quickly that I'm not sure how it would be possible for Suarez to make a conscious decision to handle that in order to gain an advantage.

If she's that desperate to be on tv, I'm sure there are other ways that would be far more appreciated by the viewers than talking about football.

Downing assist eh, behave.

lolwut.... Downing has to be one of the worst players I've ever seen in a Liverpool shirt.

To be honest what's concerning for us is that our Championship quality players (Henderson, Downing et al) didn't dominate the mighty Mansfield or even put up a particularly good show against them.

If Downing didn't have any kind of pace then he truly would be at home in the mighty Blue Square Prem!

9 times out of 10 in cup ties the bigger side sinks to the level of the smaller side, probably through a combination of resting players and the smaller side being more up for it.

The only exception to this seems to be Chelsea but they get plenty of practice beating crap teams with their luck in the Cup draw. :p

Would it be Drogba?

Providing an example of a player that no longer even plays for the club? Who's to say G-MAN condones Drogba's previous behaviour?

:eek::o

Most probably not deliberate, more instinct then anything but we'll never know. Major **** up is from the officials as it's so bloody obvious.
