The FA CUP Third Round - 5/6/7 January *** Spoilers ***

Pretty strong line up, looking forward to seeing how it goes, not sure who is going to be playing wide out of Rafael/Buttner or if it's going to be a 3-5-2 with Rafael & Buttner both wide or if it's a 4-4-2 with Rafael wide right and Kagawa wide left.

I would have preferred it if it was more of a recognised system but lets see how it goes...

I'd say....

---------------De Gea---------------
Smalling--Vidic--Evans--Buttner
Rafael--Scholes--Cleverley--Welbeck
---------------Kagawa---------------
-------------Hernandez-------------

Subs: Lindegaard, Ferdinand, Valencia, Giggs, Young, RVP, Macheda

Sadly it won't matter how good Ba plays or how many he scores because Torres will always play ahead of him in most games.

Ba's movement today has been as good as anything Torres has managed for Chelsea so far.

Ba is more of a straight replacement for Torres than Chelsea have had for a while.

It was over at 2-1 but I prefer to relax at 4-1. :p Less than two weeks for the home game. I'm looking forward to it. :D

I am so glad they moved it, if it had been a few saturdays ago it would have really ruined christmas. Now its just a throw away midweek game that we will loose badly :(

I do fear that with the line up though that we are a bit lightweight in the middle with Scholes/Clev, they aren't an ideal pairing really as Scholes moves like a bus most of the team and Clev likes to give and go.

Hopefully Clev/Kagawa play off each other to keep us ticking over going forward, I'd like to see the emphasis on playing to Kagawas strengths rather than ignoring him and just slipping it to the wing.

Beckhams at the ground, meeting Fergie after the match and signing up then ey?

ITV listed us as playing a 4-4-2 with Kagawa out on the left and Rafael on the right as I thought would most likely be the case.

when I saw the line up, I suspected this to be the case - even though imo Kagawa behind Chicharito (and Welbeck wide) would work better

Meh what do ITV know they employ Chiles after all, I cant remember Fergie starting Kagawa anywhere other than in behind the striker so I'm going with that.

Worst Newcastle performance in years, we've have robbed them if we'd have drawn the game.

This hoofball that Pardew plays is really starting to concern me. There is NEVER a plan B.

To be fair I'd take a loss in the FA cup for 3 premier league points at the moment, but that's not going to happen
