The FA CUP Third Round - 7/8/9 January *** Spoilers ****

Pft... try watching Brighton at the Withdean!

I love 'em, but if Brighton didn't score within 10 minutes they gave them hell, It was ridiculous. Although I will certainly cut them slack as it was the worst ground you could imagine going to. No proper stands and right on top of a hill(horrible place when it was raining or windy, or both!). must have been a horrible experience for away fans.
It was a very poor show though, seeing the fans on the players backs all the time, even in the years we got back to back promotions:rolleyes:

Aaah, I can say all this now with a smile on my face, as we now have the Amex which really is a lovely little stadium, and the optimism around the place is infectious:)
(even though we can't seem to do much atm:()

You should come watch Wednesday play jakeke! Unbeaten at home so far this season

I'll happily buy you a drink too!

I'm coming to the Charlton game, dad has a spare. I go every month or two whenever there's a spare! Luckily enough those games have been Huddersfield and a couple of derbies in the last 6 months or so, now Charlton, thank god for their timing.

Ah! I'll be at that game too! Where a bouts will you be sat?

Charlton are the first team for a while that have me a bit worried, our home form has been so good. Wasn't overly bothered by West Ham either but that was more to do with Big Sam :p

Ahhhhhh all hell is breaking lose!!!

The game might be on Wednesday because S4C say they're covering it, but the club are still saying it's on Tuesday... but now there have been 'developments' so ESPN might want to be showing it.

:)
The FA cup site says Tuesday as well

Hoping for a Wrexham win!

Wouldn't surprise me atm, we are in terrible form, I had hoped the win against Southampton(against 10men:p) might start the ball rolling, but they were pretty dire at home against Wrexham. One good thing though is that generally Brighton do quite well in cups against lower teams, plus the prospect of Newcastle should spur them on. We just can't score at the moment though!!

I have booked the weekend off to coincide with the next round;) ( i have loads to use anyway)

‎Ken Bates on Arsenal V Leeds United A.F.C - I watched the game live out here in South Africa and I thought the filming was absolutely appalling.

I spent more time looking at David Beckham, Thierry Henry sitting on his seat, Thierry Henry sitting talking to the man next door to him, Thierry Henry standing up, Thierry Henry sitting down, Thierry Henry running up and down the touchline and Thierry Henry coming on the pitch and then watching Thierry Henry standing there when the ball was on the goal line at the other end and so it went on...

There were constant replays and interruptions so you didn’t see the full flow at all.

And I don’t know who ESPN employed to do it, but I thought they were a bunch of amateurs and they have a lot to learn from Sky, BBC and ITV.

:D
