What was the reasoning of Arsenal fielding a weak side? Not going to win the league, not in Champo's league ?

My best guess is Wenger is anticipating Chelsea playing a strong team in the League Cup semi.
Our squad depth is atrocious.

lol, Arsenal are hilarious, incompetent and pathetic.
So bored with those who think Wenger should stay, we've been a joke for years. There was a time a nearly reserve/youth team beat a mostly Liverpool first team in the cup and today a bunch of could be first teamers, 12mil for Debuchy, 16mil for CHambers, Mert was first team, Welbeck cost 16mil, Walcott cost.. honestly I never worked out how much he cost after addons, anyway this team looks straight up pathetic on the pitch.
Of course, had we rotated more in december, a lot of these players would be fitter and in better form AND with the rest of the squad fresher we could have played a better mix of first team/reserve players. Regardless, the quality of player we supposedly have out there, we shouldn't be anywhere near this bad.
That ARsenal are complaining about this is a joke itself. We should be cruising, the penalty should never have been given because we shouldn't have been in that situation and even if we gave it away we shouldn't care about the goal.
