Oh dear - could car films get any worse?

"The Fast and the Furious 3" follows the story of Shaun Boswell, who has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing -- which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Shaun is sent out of the country to live with his uncle in the military, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo. In the land that gave birth to the majority of modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-metal, gravity-defying automotive challenge ... drift racing, a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses of hairpin turns and switchbacks. For his first unsuccessful foray in drift racing, Shaun unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," with ties to the Yakuza, the Japanese crime machine. The only way he can pay off the debt of his loss is to venture into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the stakes are life and death.

rofl you know you will still watch it anyway just for the hell of it? :D

I know that I'll certainly be avoiding it, just like I did with the previous cinematic abortions in this series.....if I want to see people dicking around in cars with more wings and stickers than BHP under the bonnet I'll go hang around the McDonalds down the road. :D

rofl I know what you are saying but I know that I'm bound to encounter it on TV/DVD at some point, it's just a fact of life.

Doesnt look to bad now I have seen the trailer, looked less cheesy than second one.

Yo Bro i got yo back dog :p realy annoyed me

lol I thought Vin Diesel was '99.9%' signed up for F&F3 a year back or so, and what happened to Paul Walker?!?!

So the only person of vague note is 'Bow Wow' who in reality is a no one loooool

Potential for extremly hot Japanese women, worth going to see it if only for that!
Amen, brutha!

I can also see this film pushing the price of good RWD cars such as the MR2, MX-5, 200SX, Supra etc to both purchase AND insure sky high, as the price of Honda Civics did with the first one, as all the wannabe's start buying them and attempt to drift, and end up killing themselves, or worse, the cars.

Wonder if it'll be possible to edit out the naff driving sections so as to concentrate on just the women. Lets hope this will be out in HD.

Aww, i allways think these films are fun! There allways very pretty to watch. Maybe this isnt guna be billed as fast and furiouse 3 so they can let vin and walker back for the proper 3rd one.

wtf you would sit through 2 hours of gash films to see a women fully clothed rather than google for some hot lesbo action :D what ever floats your boat fellas :D

no paul walker? i thought the films revolved around him... a bit like having having a spiderman film but no spidey

Like the first two, it'll be utterly unrealistic, over the top, no plot rubbish.

But you know what? I kind of enjoy these films. It's mindless take-your-brain-out entertainment, and the scantily clad young Japanese ladies and Veilside Fortune RX7s alone will make it worth watching ;)

haha, what a joke, although doesnt look as bad as the second one, i know i will watch it at some point out of interest for the car scenes, even if they are completely stupid, but ohwell!

A Southern boy can't find his place...so he goes to Japan...

Pffft. What the hell kind of ****-poor excuse for a story is that?

No swearing, read the FAQ.
