Im thinking the latter, hitting a deer at 60 would surely do more damage? or did you just clip it or something? :P
 
must have been a small deer, some of the ones i was feeding this week would have put a lot more damage than that, even at lower speeds!

While i'm partial to a bit of venison, your not actually allowed to take your own road kill, only the person who finds it after you.
 
So instead of selling it to someone who CAN be bothered to fix it, or breaking it for spares, or giving it away you're going to pay to have it scrapped?

Good job it was only a deer and not a broken down car round that bend ay? Remember, you should be able to stop in the distance you can see to be clear....you may not be so lucky next time.

Shame about your car, but as others have said the damage doesn't look too bad.

I went out for a late night drive earlier down an NSL road and had a deer shoot across the road about 300m infront of me. I'd read this thread just before going out so I took the rest of that road at about 35 covering the brakes with my eyes glued to the road. :eek:

Doesn't cost anything for them to pick it up where I live.

I'm going to give it to my mate to repair for some cash of course. :)
