This is a situation that has happened to me in the past. I refuse to bear petty grudges and fall out over something that has nothing to do with me, but now it's happening again with some of my closest friends.
Two of my close friends have fallen out. I go for coffee and sit for hours listening to one bitch about the other, then I'll meet the other and listen to her bitch about the first one. I don't want to fall out with anyone, but it's clear that most people are siding with one person or the other. I just can't be bothered with petty arguments and would rather keep all my friends. Now in an attempt to get me onto one side, a couple of my friends think I'm being 'two faced'.
I sort of see where they are coming from, however to me being two faced would only apply if I was actually agreeing with each party when they bitched about the other. I simply listen and tell them to stop making such a big deal out of it.
