The first Bond film you saw? (and who's your fave Bond girl?)

My memory might be fuzzy, but I seem to remember that Never Say Never Again was ALWAYS aired on Boxing Day during the 1990s, like it was a permanent fixture for that day :-) Not a bad film though, although I preferred the original film (Thunderball).

I have no memory to some degree but when I was 7 - 9 I always remember Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun or The Spy Who Loved Me was always on at 9pm while the sun was setting on holiday.

I never saw Never Say Never Again until 93 or there about. Whats bizarre about Never Say Never Again sometimes threw me off sounding and feeling like the 70s. Even though I wasn't born in the 70s. Strange how it doesn't quite have a full on 80s sound.

I still really enjoyed that film. Absolutely adore that sound starting at 2:52. Feels like getting lost in the air.

I absolutely loved these end credit songs. The Living Daylights & License to Kill.

No idea, too long ago! It was almost certainly one of the (fabulous) Roger Moore ones.

As for Bond girls. It has to be Eva Green. She's stunning.

However... if we're talking more old skool, then Lois Chiles from Moonraker. I've also had some terribly dirty thoughts about Jill St. John, who played Tiffany Case in Diamonds are Forever. :D

Diamonds are forever on both bouncy counts, with Man With the golden gun a close second. Britt Eklund with a wrench. Good combo.

Can't remember first one probably on TV in the 70s. favourite bond girl Talisa Soto closely followed by Sophie Marceau

I don't remember the first Bond film I ever saw but it was certainly a Connery. I do remember when Live and Let Die first premiered on TV in the early 80's. As for Bond girls, tough choice man. Love Barbara Bach, Ursula Andress, Eva Green, Jane Seymour. Perhaps also an honourable mention for Kim Basinger in Never say Never again.

Couldn't say which was the first Bond film for definite but used to love watching them all and used to watch them over and over.

Favourite Bond girl would be Eva Green.

I think the first Bond movie I saw would have been The Spy Who Loved Me, although I've seen them all by now. Bond girls that just do it for me would be (in no particular order) Barbara Bach, Eva Green, Caroline Munro, Lana Wood, Molly Peters, Gemma Arterton, Daniela Bianchi, Carey Lowell, Monica Bellucci.

Of course loads of others are gorgeous, but a lot them either had fleetingly small parts, or have been much better in other films (such as Olga Kurylenko and Rosamund Pike), and so didn't register as highly with me as they should have.

I actually have no idea what the first one I saw was. Possibly Moonraker, but looking back they all just blur into one.

Favorite Bond girl would be Barbara Bach. Jane Seymour a close second.

I would also like to add favorite Bond quotes!

1. "Take the low road...................not that low!"
2. "Butter-hook"
3. "Hiss off!"

:D

Can't really remember which one I saw first, the first I really remember and really enjoyed was Goldeneye.

Bond girl I love Denise Richards (also lovely the cheesy one liner for her at the end) and love the woman who plays Zenia (I think that's the spelling) in Goldeneye.

Spose it would have been about 81, you only live twice, I think. Cracking bond, still one of the best, fantastic as a kid with the whole space lark.

Jane Seymour, just never gets old.

Yeah there are some wicked quotes :-) I'll pop a few of my faves too:

"I'll keep onatopp of this" (reference to Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye)
"She certainly had her kicks" (reference that poison-tipped shoe, can't remember which film)
"The snake had a crush on me" (think that was from Moonraker)
"Shocking!" (following an electrocution scene)
"I don't know him socially. His name's Jaws. He kills people." (from Moonraker)
"If you’re Q, does that make him R?" (from The World is Not Enough)

How about favourite theme tunes?

My no.1 fave would be The Man with the Golden Gun for it's upbeat sound, no.2 would be For Your Eyes Only with the early 80s synth, then On Her Majesty's Secret Service which was unusual as it was an instrumental (no vocals).

Probably one of the Sean Connery ones, although it was Goldeneye that turned me into a 007 fan. As for fave Bond girl, probably Domino Vitali or Vesper Lynd from the books, and Denise Richards / Eva Green from the films.
