Nope, standard. Mike's does it too. The actual symbol on the stalk is just a flat line, to represent the sidelights rather than the headlamp symbol.

I'll have a look at those headlights, not at the top of my list but I'm interested.

Because unless you are spending M3 sort of money, most new cars are a complete yawnfest compared to older stuff you can actually have a bit of fun with.
 
The one I drove allowed sidelights with the headlamps down. Good fun flashing the main beams once just to pop them up :D

Have you checked your battery (under the spare tyre)? My mate's MR2 was in pretty good nick, but the battery was swimming in an inch of water. I took it out and had a poke around and it turned out to be a blocked drain under it - has been fine since, so worth checking on yours.

It's actually really comfortable, just on your left hand at the side of the gear shift, perfect :)

I tell you what, I'm blown away by the number of adjustments on the seats :D Lumbar, side bolsters, tilt, shift, pan, slant...the works :p

you need to be careful that you don't slip your hand onto your passengers right knee though, can be a good excuse, or a very awkward moment ;) :p
