Got my MSI P45 Neo-F an hour or so ago; put in the E7200, 2gb of OCZ xtc PC6400 RAM and a 7600GT and the ******* thing wouldn't POST. I've tried all the usual suspects, reset CMOS, put in 1 stick of RAM, tried some Corsair PC5400 RAM, changed to a 7300GT gfx, disconnected all drives except the one with the OS on and still no POST.

When switching on the fans run, but nothing else happens, no beeps :(

Unless anyone has a bright idea, it's going back tomorrow.

As above said yeah sounds silly but could be the smallest thing really.

Check the 4 or 8pin? cpu connector is connected to the mainboard and the main ATX lead is in.

Check the power cable is connected to the graphics card to power it up also...

Id even go as much to try the motherboard out of the Case without the Case header wires, just tap a screwdriver on the powerswitch pins and see if it comes on. Sometimes the cpu heatsink under bracket if its metal can cut off mobos or even the case !

Also dont connect any other cards or ide cables or anything else just bare bones cpu, ram, heatsink, graphics, ps.....

Done all that and changed the CPU to a E4400 - ITS DEAD:mad:

I took it back yesterday, I'm going to wait for the DS3 I have on order.

Will be interested in how others get on with the MSI boards.
