Boro haven't turned up, Karanka set them up like an away game. Really poor.

Least all the UTB and Believe statuses have disappeared on my FB.
 
we had this debate at work, better off in championship and doing well, or avoiding relegation in premiership, year on year
 
Yeah exactly, just hope the money this time means we can improve the squad well enough to do something more than fight at the bottom.

Again, I've always been critical of Karanka away from the Riverside, and he did it again as far as formation goes.
Vossen off for Kike was a disgrace, Bamford had been anonymous all match.

People are also saying "Auto for Boro" next season without realising we lose our front 2 in Bamford and Vossen as far as loans ending, I don't even think we can afford Vossen and he'd be eager to come back. Vossen hasn't scored that many fair enough, but he's quality as a player.

I was disappointed with how boro played. Especially the first 25 minutes.

Second half they were a bit unlucky at times but Norwich did well defensively.

It must suck to go the whole season and lose it on the final game in that fashion.
 
Yeah tell me about it, 02/03 I think it was, lost on penalties to Birmingham at the millennium stadium!

The feeling after that day :(:(:(

Boro came to Carrow Road and denied us automatic promotion by parking the bus after getting an own goal, this was our revenge!

Will be interesting to see how we do next year, everybody is raving about how much Johnson, Tettey and others have improved this year over last. Now we have to wait to see whether that is due to the manager or due to finding their level in the Championship..

Friend will be picked up by a PL club, maybe one of the promoted clubs. Gibson too possibly.

Clayton, I really dislike as a human but is a great player, unfortunately all the things I liked about him as been zapped out of him, he used to get double figures for goals at his previous clubs now he's a holding cm pretty much. Karanka needs to be more adventurous next season, will have to splash cash too to replace the loanees and outgoing players.
 
I thought M'boro started too slowly, negatively and looked directionless after they conceded the second goal.

They were absolutely awful when we (Sheffield Wednesday) beat them comfortably at H'borough.

Pleased Norwich have gone up.

I can't ever see Gibson leaving, although for obvious reasons lol.
Friend was the only positive for me today, I hope he stays.
Realistically, boro need to keep their players, but I really can see some going to the PL.

In fairness after you got the 2nd goal you basically did the same to us on Monday. Can't blame you either due to the importance of the game same as at Carrow Road.

Disappointed to have lost particularly after beating Norwich twice in the league but we were far too slow out the blocks and going two goals down meant Norwich could just set back after that. We never looked like breaking them down. Bamford clearly wasn't fit either definitely not his usual self.

Oh well our Wembley disappointment continues although whenever we've had play off/wembley heartache we've always got promoted the following season.

You've managed to name the two players that are least likely to leave the club. You only need to listen to their interviews after the match to know both will be at the club next season. Adomah is the player I'm most concerned about leaving.

Whitehead is gone but more of a squad player. Bamford obviously now his loan is finished but who knows might end up back at us if he doesn't get a game or loan to a premier league side. Vossen unlikely to sign because he hasn't had the goal return we desperately needed.

Our squad is still a work in progress but considering where we were 18 months ago we've made massive progress in that time.
