Heartbroken.
Wembley was bouncing, our fans were absolutely excellent even before the match. NorthWest London was a sea of blue and white

. (I thought Hull's support was disappointing, the empty seats could have been sold to Wednesday fans as there was still huge demand, rather than having a half empty Hull end).
Match was poor, I don't think either side played to their potential. I thought Wednesday and Hull both looked fairly comfortable in the first half, second half Wednesday started in bang average form, similar from Hull. A single moment of brilliance won the game, and I thought that while Wednesday moved the ball and probed more after the goal, it was largely in vain as that goal galvanised Hull and they controlled the end of the match.
Well played Hull, close game but an inspired moment and an exceptional goal was the major difference. Wednesday out sung, and out supported Hull, and it was heartbreaking that could not transcend to help Wednesday play well. Wednesday are better than that, and have been for much of the season. Completely out sung, chanted and out supported but Bruce is a good manager (criminally underrated record with promotion) and Hull were well disciplined.
Good luck to Hull next season. Roll on next season for Wednesday! Carlos still has a dream!
Absolutely knackered this morning, and while I was genuinely upset last night, this morning I appreciate just what a great season we've had. Especially given that I said for most of the season I'd have been over the moon with some entertaining football or good football and a solid mid-table finish. Excited for next season; hopefully can spend a little bit of money and move out the deadwood, maintain a challenge for the top 2 or more realistically top 6 next season.
Good laugh on the train/underground pre and post match. Hull fans were humble after the match; surprising number were on the underground carriage after the match (half surprised they did not stay to celebrate, and half not surprised due to the 5pm kick off).
Arrived back home, knackered, aching, horse voiced and to the sound of Kasabian echoing across Leicester city centre
