The forbidden 3080 - Gundam

Yeah but then Gundam is not all white. Although the blue and red is very understated on the card.

Dare not ask the price but I would want a Gundam figure in the box too !
Since prices in Hong Kong are "bundle price", which you most likely have to pay for all the parts for a full PC build. Store to store will be a bit different but when added up is most likely the same for a full PC build. Taking that into account, one 3080 ONLY cost roughly 1500-1800 GBP. (but yea, since 3080 is already rare enough and it is a ROG Strix, I would say paying that price at the moment at least scored me a Gundam edition rather than just normal) I can't even get a card on overclockers :D

Yes, I got the case as well.
Once I finish the build I will post some photos up.
(it will be a not perfect build with poor cable management and as a remote build, and I will run two cards in that build)

You may find that you have trouble with temps with two cards in. That glass front does the air flow no good at all. You can feel that the middle fan especially is choked and the bottom fan mostly dumps into the psu shroud. I've swapped the stock front fans for ML140s and it's still marginal with a 3090FE. I've got a holiday coming up and I'm going to swap the rear fan and probably pull the glass out to see what difference it makes.

Thanks for the reminder. I was wondering about that too.
If that happens I will swap fans to Noctua iPPC 3000 :eek:

If you don't mind noise the stock fans might work. They're loud on the high setting but do move some air. Any decent replacement would be better though. If you do the Noctuas I can see how remote would be an advantage...

I did one of the early Thermaltake copper tower coolers with twin 4800rpm 92mm fans. It was frosty and noise was acceptable if you were in the garden or in next door's house.

Will there be pictures of the build?

I am getting the build almost done. Went into incompatibility with the mobo and cpu. Finally RMA-ed the mobo. Will share some photo once it is completed.
