So far today I have seen direct links to competitor products, links to videos that are clearly centred around one thing only, and a suspension amongst other things.

Yesterday there was discussion in a thread about where to buy a certain product from along with blatant hints to the site. On top of this we have had some what I consider to be very silly "Spec me" threads, the spaghetti holder being the star spec me thread lately.

Also common sense seems to have gone on holiday, we have had threads about where to buy trainers, lawnmowers and only yesterday bubble wrap.

As someone pointed consumer advice is great and I have asked for opinions myself on certain products but where to buy them from is stretching it a little surely.
 
You do know your posting in OcUK's General Discussion section.. this is where all the riff-raff go.
 
You don't like people breaking the rules and you don't like people being suspended for breaking the rules?

What should be do to people that break the rules? Not everyone is going to stick to them.

People shouldn't break the rules and thus I agree with the suspensions, my point was that when I first came on here at 9am I came across competitor links and suspensions followed borderline porn and links to videos of Jessica Simpson's breasts.

It is just the normal dross that "entertainment" sites write about, not quite sure why I want to watch a video of someone walking down the street, I'm sat next to a perfectly good window.

Yeah, thanks :rolleyes:

I for one find gd more interesting than most of the other forums, with motors and console gaming taking up some of my time, i only use the hardware sections when i am looking to buy something.
