I am having a meal with a bunch of mates later at restaurant near the Excel Centre, and this is the only pub I can find near.

I've tried getting in contact with the pub to find out if they have skyports/ESPN for the football later on, but had no joy.

Has anyone been? Or can anyone reccomend any pubs in the vicinity of the Excel Centre that would be showing the football?

Hmmm, Just rechecked their mai webpage, and a big flash animation informed me that they do indeed have Skysports and ESPN

I used to go there after work now and then (worked at the airport) and I hated the place!
The atmosphere was always dire and I'm sure it's the airport staff that keep it going.

Theres a bar in the Novotel that shows the football and the food is nice as well.
