The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

I know it's a business and all that but do they need to gouge that much, makes them look like cowboys.

Indeed, The other main competitor in England sells it for £549.99 across the whole range, OCUK gives us Jews a bad name :p

I'm all for running a business well but there comes a point when you should stand back and say "Ok I'm actually becoming somewhat of a greedy **** here".

I don't see that OCUK are at fault here. If any fingers need pointing, point them to the people who are prepared to pay these prices.

If No-one bought at this price from OCUK, then they would reduce the price to shift the stock.

If it's a returned one then OCUK are breaking the law by re-selling it as new and could be taken to court.

For their sake I hope it is fully new.

I was looking at getting that 1 Fury X instock but £649.99 is an absolute urine extraction.

Only if it had been opened, if the box is still factory sealed then it is still a brand new card. :)

Ultimately it's AMD that need to satisfy demand and currently this launch has been diabolical .

Disgustingly short supply honestly. They just couldn't get it out the door quick enough with what they had.

Sorry but it's true, really hasn't been good.

True, Still wish OCUK wouldn't price gouge like that though, Yes I know a business needs to make money to stay afloat but there comes a point when that just goes into the overly greedy area.

I love shopping at OCUK but things like this is why I'm grateful that there are other stores that offer the same things.

i think they were just a little shocked they were releasing new cards
and the emotion overwhelmed them

they forgot they actually had to make some
and that tv's exist
things like that

2nd date they will be more calm!

One thing that made me giggle is when Mr Huddy was asked why it doesn't have HDMI 2.0 when even the lower end GTX 960 from Nvidia has it, His response just made me giggle -

"Well erm yes that's a *cough* good point and we ermm will be looking into that in the erm *Cough* future erm but there is a 3rd party *Cough* vendor releasing a erm *Cough* adapter that converts the HDMI 1.4 signal into erm HDMI 2.0"

lol translation:

That's a good question and I'd like to ask the same idiots that we have working for us how this actually came about but unfortunately I can't really tell you this because it makes us look bad.
