came across this tonight thought it cant hurt to share http://gadgetshow.five.tv/jsp/speed_test.htm first test was 10mb, second was 13 mb on a 20 mb vigin connection here, time of test was 11.30 gmt

Numbers may match up, but it still doesn't help the fact I get failed DNS lookups and "Page not found" and "Page time out" on almost every single first connection to a web page.

I was just downloading the iTunes update from Apple at 2.5mb/sec so it doesn't really bother me that this thinks I'm not getting my full 20mb. These speedtests never seem to get it right.

I got 109k/sec down and 110k/sec up, I have a crap ISP (Utility Warehouse) it's supposed to be 1mbit though! Good thing VM ADSL gets installed next week (5.5mbit)
