Dont like the looks at all.

Colours available aren't too bad but dotty back just looks horrible. Guess if your not fussed and want it for the tech your likely to cover that up with a case anyway.

Not really a fan of the back, but then again Ill have a case on it so wont see it.

Front looks like any other phone really :) Also I wouldn't get any other colour apart from black/white

I've always had HTC phones, but I am getting a bit fed up now with phones that don't have removable batteries as it takes almost as long to get a full charge on my battery as the batter actually lasts. So I may consider a Samsung now when mu upgrade is due, by which time the S6 will be out.

Samsung are a victim of their own success in the eyes of us enthusiasts. The S3 and S4 (partially) sold so well that they can't detract from their 'tried and tested' formula. The result? Conservative design, except for those weird colour choices.

I'd like to see what their UltraBook/TV design teams could come up with.

Something thin, tiny bezel, amazing material. I would like a phone with the same design/build as the Series 9 laptops. That metal is pretty amazing that they use in it, and feels great.

The worst thing about it for me is the overall size for a tiny increase in screen size. I had an S3 which was too big really. The S4 had a bigger screen in a smaller phone so it was hard to knock that really but to go up to 5.1" and have a massive phone just doesn't seem worth it. I think 4.7" with a small bezel is the most I would go to now, like the moto X. Ideally, I'd go a bit smaller.

Give the Z1 compact a try, its roughly the same size as the Moto X but with a 4.3" screen, pretty decent camera really good battery life. The main reasons for the size increase in the S5 I think is too make it water/dust proof.

Not bothered, Samsung obviously putting all their money into battery and bezel less screen R&D.

The back looks like a small pillow, really though who are these idiots on big wages who design this turd., brainy people i think not :rolleyes:

I think a lot of people will change their opinion once they've had a hands on approach to the handset in person rather than seeing it in pictures.

Agreed, what else is a fellow going to buy when a two year old contract ends and all a high end customer has to choose from is the s5 a potentially shoddily built HTC a bezelicious Sony an lg or a usually found to be lacking though vfm Nexus, I'm presuming they aren't apple buyers and haven't got the guts to buy a Note.
