The GCSE results thread

Alright so the A level people had their own thread so why can't the people doing GCSEs? Not sure how many of your are. Anyone nervous?

I'm really not thinking about it at the moment (apart from deciding to make the thread), just watching all the series's of Breaking Bad.

I've told myself theres no point panicking as theres nothing I can do about it now...

Aslong as I get 6 B's to get back into 6th form then I don't mind

GCSEs are important, don't screw them up.

Oh wait, wrong time of year sorry. GCSEs aren't the end of the world if they go wrong, more important is your AS grades, and even more important is your A Level predictions.

I remember back in my day, GCSE's were actually a challenge and weren't dumbed down.

Actually that's a lie, they were still dumbed down for me too, but even more-so now.

Good luck, in a years time you will probably feel that they don't matter that much.
And in b4 people say exams have got easier, I think was too late.

Good luck everyone. Ignore what people say about the exams being too easy, or not worth stressing about. Its all relative and will still be the hardest thing you have done so far.

I'm slightly nervous but I know in the grand scheme of things they mean very little. I took maths last year so I'm glad that's out of the way, I just need 4 more of my grades to be at least a B (one being English Language) to get into one of my Sixth Forms. Also, I can finally write a decent CV now!

Still, i'm debating if i should pull an all-nighter or not, although i'm not sure how i'm going to get up for 9:30 otherwise. Sign up day the day after that so you know, how long can you go without sleep?

But yeah, i'm just waiting on like 3 or 4 results, which is a bummer because it means i have to remember what i've already got
