Arghhh I actually read the first line before I checked the username, the title should have been the clue.
Ah yes, another "read the title, check the poster, join the crowd" person, ah the joy of the OCUK GD forum.

The original paper was released 4 years ago and so far no one seems to have replicated the experiment.

Have they tried?
I would assume so, but have no idea. No supression seems to be going on though as here is the original paper in pdf format:
http://arxiv.org/ftp/gr-qc/papers/0603/0603033.pdf
more like..."checked the poster, knew his credibility was shot multiple times, years ago, joined the crowd"
Hmmm.
My suppression comment was more in regards to what could be happening in the LHC rather then the paper its self.
Ninja post edit.
What is happening in the LHC that contradicts what they are saying?
Its not one guyits a team of scientists.
What would they gain by suppressing a massive breakthrough in physics? Considering the LHC is all about massive breakthroughs in physics?
Well interests.
xyz put £100 million into it, they want "rights" to be the first to use said new tech for x years. Kind of thing.
IF they found say a unlimited renewable resource that would change the world, how would our government for example be able to tax said energy to the extent they do with petrol?
There is too much to loose in the above example.
You understand what they're trying to do at the LHC, don't you?
Hint: it's not looking for an 'unlimited renewable resource'. Whatever that is.
