The Godless - OcUK Guild Wars Guild Members Details...........................

I've been playing Nightfall for a couple of weeks on and off and have just got my warrior/monk to 20th.
I'm a member of another guild (PURR), which whilst is very friendly and jokey, I can't find any benefit to being in.

I'm not sure where to go or what to do now. I know I can keep developing the character even though the level won't increase, but I'm not sure how to get on group missions. I'm still using the other heroes and henchmen, but I guess all the PC groups are going to be more interesting. There is a lot I don't understand that makes reading the chat dialogue bewildering:
"taxi to docks - 1k whsp me"
I guess that someone wants somehow taking to the docks and is willing to pay 1000 gold, but I can't work out how it would happen.

I tried a few random battles, but got creamed in all but one battle, and I know how minimal a player I was in that battle.

Aside from trudging around soloing the obvious missions, I'm not sure what to do.

I see people offering places in groups for missions, but I reckon my character is so underpowered that I'd be on the floor most of the time.

Anyone got any advice on how to rekindle my interest in the game, or probably more relevant - am I missing anything obvious, or just oblivious to the in game etiquette?

Well Nightfall only really gets going at about level 20 so you have plenty of storyline left to see.

I wouldn't worry about being 'underpowered'. The point of the level cap is that everyone is more or less equal and player ability becomes the overriding factor in success.
Jump into a player group for one of the cooperative missions or better yet get some of your guildies to help you. The majority can be soloed with heroes and henchmen but most are easier with players.

If you want some help on how to play your character profession or select a balanced skill bar try Guildwars guru, Guild Wiki or the Godless forum.
 
Only just started the first game, but can I get an invite please? DREAD EDGE currently 6th level Elementalist/Ranger.

Need a partner to clear the initial 'find a partner' mission!

Just started a new character to run through the 3 campaigns, starting with Prop, so, I can help in Pre-searing, I can do that, (I, infact, need help there myself), and then, once I've done that I'll be poking the Eye of the North, hopefully.

I don't like the idea of leaving the SPD, but, it's going to have to be done. Let's hope you guys have a guild hall comparable to the Isle of Meditation. ;)

i hope some of you remember me, especially you Jas and Azagoth, and i think i was in there with you pumpkinstew for several months, thou its been over a year since me mortis, dae, seth, fortunes, lance and jhad left.
 
Reinstalled after a summer of hardware failures and issues with new system, so anyone wanna reinvite me - Lady Spearmint. She's a P/E20.... although may remember me as Lord Luchan ;) He's conquered the 1st 3 chapters, although she got lost around Jenner's Horde and headed off to LA!

She isn't even in the Guild anymore! She rage-quit because she didn't like being told the truth about how her style of leadership was beginning to ruin the Guilds sense of stupidity and fun. :)

She's leader of some other Guild now, mainly made up of sycophantic children.
 
hehe, I also wondered that, Prodigy did explain a little but my connection dropped.
I am thinking about picking up Eye of the North tonight, extremely late to the party... Wireless connection in my house has been pretty shocking recently, moving my room around did not work well for the connection, teamed up with a dodgy aerial = hell.

I never have any luck with wireless, will see about moving router to room and keeping it wired soon. Feel a need to get back into the GW ways, again.

i may consider joining this guild, as at the moment i have no guild. i was previously in VILE [victory is life eternal] and Sins [the seven deadly] but i left because i got bored of faction farming lol.
i havent picked up on playing guildwars again just yet [havent played for about a 2 months] but if i start again, ill join up.
