The Good Free PC Games?

When reseaching about getting my gaming PC I came across some quite good F2P games, but now I've got my PC but forgot all of dem games

I've got the stuff like Tribes Ascend and Lol, but what else is 'der?

The greatest multiplayer game I've ever played. Valve are awesome, it's certainly the most balanced game of all time.

Depends what sort of genre you're looking for really..

If you're into MMO's and the like then SWTOR is free to try up to level 20 iirc. It's also going f2p as of November.

As mentioned above TF2 is one of the best F2P titles availible at the moment with a thriving community.

I never really got the hype behind TF2, granted I only played it on Xbox 360, but from what I remember it really wasn't that great, I should probably try it on PC, though.

Good community, good support from valve (for the moment), i46 just around the corner - 500 players of tf2 in attendance from across the world - biggest tf2 event in the world to date...what's not to like?

Although I never tried the game on console, definitely give the PC version a try, it's free after all so nothing at all to lose.

Everything you need to know about SW:TOR can be summed up in the fact that an MMO made by one of the world's most popular developers and based on the most lucrative license in entertainment is going free-to-play less than 12 months after its launch.

If you don't mind your games being less pretty, then I can recommend Doom: The Roguelike and the beta version of Desktop Dungeons.
