Ordinarily so would I but ‘Holywood’ is so devoid of original ideas that I would not be in slightest bit surprised if there were truth to it.

Yeap, even other media are simple regurgitating "The Sun" story with absolutely no other media anywhere independently reporting it - so either the ultimate scoop for a UK newspaper reporting on a Hollywood story that absolutely NO other media in the world knows about or, most likely, good old fashioned fake news.

I didn't see the original Goonies until 2019 (I was 40) but I still enjoyed it and I think it has aged well. There's a bit in there with the ship which gave some inspiration for the Dead Mines dungeon in World of Warcraft.

Beetlejuice 2 is currently scoring 77% against the 82% of the original, so there is some hope in the Goonies 2.
